The teachers and education I received at CCS formed my character, Christian worldview, and college and career trajectory. He as a Bachelor's of Art degree from San Diego Christian College and a Master's of Art in Christian Ministry from Grand Canyon University.
He shares "Having graduated from CCS in 2004, I personally have seen the immense benefit a Christ-centered, missional Christian education can provide for a young person. My favorite and most formable memories from school were trips with my choir or band, plays with my drama teacher, and deep conversations with my Bible teacher and other teachers at CCS. These transformative relationships impact how I wish to serve the current students at CCS. During college, I participated in their yearly musicals and saw the immense fun, creativity, community, and collaboration that came about in musical theater. The excellence and sheer fun of the musicals is something I wish to give the CCS and greater C.O. community. I then served as a missionary in Albania church-planting in a Muslim village. I have seen firsthand how a relationship with Christ can transform an individual, family, community, and culture. In my role as educator and director, I wish to transmit Christ in all I do to see our students, community, and culture impacted with the beauty and truth of our God and Savior.I wanted to pass on to the upcoming generation the same excellent, Christ-centered Christian education! I love seeing the immense collaboration of creativity and expertise happen when crafting musicals together with our talented students, teachers, and parents. I love seeing our students grow in their acting, our singers mesmerize with their voices, and our parents and volunteers dazzle with sets and costumes. It really is a fun ride for everyone--and is a highlight of not just my year but of the students/community we get to perform for!"
