Amanda Peterson

Mrs. Peterson has lived in Central Oregon with her husband and children for 10 years.  She has three children who all attend CCS.  She holds a Bachelor's of Art in Social Science and a Master's of Art in Teaching both from Oregon State University.  

She loves having the opportunity to teach a Christian-based education and is excited to teach 3rd graders as they make the shift from learning to read, to reading to learn. They become stronger advocates for their own learning! She can't wait to get students excited about learning and exploring our world through God's lens. Since she loves exploring nature, she is looking forward to sharing that with the students and using it to bring learning to life in the classroom.  Her heart is to form an environment in her classroom that is founded on Christ first and build relationships. She looks forward to partnering with families as they watch their students grow in Christ and learning in 3rd grade.
